Chimpers Partners Nouns Deli to Launch NFT-Backed Burgers This Month

Chimpers, a chimpanzee-themed NFT collection, has joined forces with Nouns Deli, a sandwich shop, to launch burgers with NFT benefits. The latest initiative will bolster Chimpers’ IP and onboard more people into the non-fungible realm.

In an official announcement, Chimpers revealed that the collaboration will see limited-edition CHOMP burgers offered to Deli customers between April 3rd and 31st. Each burger features a double smash patty with American cheese, tomato, lettuce, and onion. They are packaged in a Chimpers-branded wrapper with a QR code on the side.

Scanning the code unlocks access to an exclusive NFT mint designed by Chimpers founder Timpers, who is also a core artist at Nouns DAO, an organization backing the Deli sandwich shop. Additionally, each mint qualifies participants for a raffle draw to win a Chimpers Tier 2 Giga Burger NFT that holds its perks.

Other benefits tied to the latest NFT mint include free burgers for holders of the 5,555-piece Chimpers NFT collection and members of the Nouns DAO. Anyone with the Chimpers Burger trait will receive “exclusive packaging” from the CHOMP chef.

The art piece will be available on the Ethereum layer-2 network Base. Zora NFT marketplace will facilitate the minting process. On-chain data on the NFT trading platform shows the completion of 41 mints at press time.

Anyone interested in partaking in the latest NFT mint should visit Nouns Deli shop in Melbourne, Australia.

Following news of the partnership, Nouns Deli founder 87Bones stated:

“I’m thrilled about this collaboration,” he said. “Nouns Deli is a place where communities come together. Working with the talented individuals behind Chimpers and Timpers is a dream come true, and I’m excited to see the magic that unfolds as we unite art, food, and community.”

The latest NFT mint joins a lineup of projects that blend food with a non-fungible narrative. The team behind the burger-focused NFT mint remains enthusiastic that its move will bring a new wave of non-fungible audiences.
