What is Wilder World?

Wilder World is an open-world metaverse game designed to combine immersive gameplay with blockchain technology.

At its core is Wiami, a futuristic city inspired by Miami, which serves as the main hub for gameplay, social interaction, and economic activity. Unlike many traditional games, Wilder World incorporates decentralized systems to give players full ownership of in-game assets such as land, vehicles, and avatars.

The game is being developed by a team of over 110 professionals with expertise in gaming, visual effects, and virtual world-building.

The project leverages a blockchain infrastructure built on Polygon’s Chain Development Kit (CDK), allowing for gas-free transactions and scalability. By abstracting web3 complexities, Wilder World aims to make blockchain-based gaming accessible to a broader audience, even those unfamiliar with crypto technologies.

What can we expect from the game?

The gameplay trailer provides an early look at Wilder World’s key features, including high-speed vehicle racing, first-person combat, and interactive social spaces. Players can customize and upgrade vehicles, participate in mining activities, and engage in events throughout Wiami’s expansive virtual landscape. The platform is also expected to feature a player-driven economy powered by the $WILD token, enabling users to buy, sell, and trade assets seamlessly.

Wiami itself is a significant draw, with its large-scale, procedurally generated environment offering endless opportunities for exploration. The game’s in-world marketplace, known as the Wilder World Metaverse Market (WWMM), allows players to trade NFTs representing various in-game assets. From customizable avatars to unique properties, these elements encourage player creativity and economic participation.

Wilder World’s partnerships with Samsung, NVIDIA, and Polygon further enhance the game’s potential reach and functionality. For example, Samsung’s integration of Wilder World into its Smart TV and Gaming Hub platforms will make the game accessible to a wider audience, whilst NVIDIA’s support ensures compatibility with GeForce Now.

With early access registration now open, Wilder World is gearing up to deliver a gaming experience that bridges traditional gameplay with decentralized, player-owned systems. Its official early access launch in Q1 2025 marks the beginning of what developers hope will be a transformative metaverse experience.
