BitPay now supports payments with Verse (VERSE)

As part of enhancements to the BitPay payment experience, BitPay now supports payments made with Verse (VERSE). Now, customers can use VERSE to pay for goods and services via BitPay. Additionally, the BitPay Wallet app has been updated to include features for VERSE, allowing users to purchase, store, exchange, and use VERSE tokens for transactions.

With this addition, we aim to empower the community with additional choices of both tokens and blockchains: you can spend Verse on both the Ethereum and Polygon networks.

 

What is Verse (VERSE) token?

The Verse (VERSE) token is an integral part of the Bitcoin.com ecosystem, serving as both a reward and utility token. It’s designed to encourage the adoption of self-custodial and decentralized tools in the cryptocurrency space, aligning with the principles of economic freedom and reduced systemic risks.

Buy gift cards with VERSE

Buying gift cards with crypto can be a great way to spend crypto even if your favorite brands and retailers don’t accept crypto payments (yet). Doing so is super simple. Just download the BitPay app or Chrome extension. From there, you can choose your gift card, the desired amount, and pay with VERSE. The card will often be sent via email instantly.
