“How to Access Binance Website in India After URL Ban: A Quick Guide”

-

In the wake of the government’s decision to restrict access to Binance’s original URL, binance.com, crypto enthusiasts in India may find themselves searching for alternative ways to reach the popular platform. Fear not, as there are viable options to access Binance even after the URL ban.

Binance Alternatives:

To continue using Binance services, users can now access the platform through alternative URLs, such as binance.me and binance.info. Despite the initial setback of the government-imposed URL ban, Binance has provided alternative domains to ensure uninterrupted access for its users.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Follow these simple steps to access Binance from India:

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Enter either binance.me or binance.info in the address bar.
  3. Enjoy uninterrupted access to Binance’s services.

App Store and Google PlayStore Woes:

In the final days of December 2023, the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Indian Finance Ministry issued a show cause notice to nine offshore cryptocurrency exchanges, among them Binance and Kraken. The notice accused these exchanges of unauthorized operations within India. Subsequently, Google has taken action by removing several cryptocurrency exchange apps from the Play Store in India. Following suit, Apple, last week, also eliminated these apps, encompassing the nine banned crypto apps, from its App Store in India.

In addition to the URL restrictions, Indian users have also faced challenges on the Apple App Store and Google play stores. Responding to government notices, Apple and  Google Play Store has removed several cryptocurrency-related apps, including Binance, from the Indian App Store. This move has left iPhone and iPad users without the convenience of accessing Binance through the official app.

The users who already have installed apps in their devices are continuing the uninterpetting access to their crypto accounts.

App Store Workaround:

For those who relied on the Binance app from the Apple App Store, consider using the Binance website through your mobile browser by following the aforementioned steps. This provides a practical workaround, allowing you to continue trading and managing your crypto portfolio.

Stay Informed:

Keep an eye on official announcements from Binance for any further updates on accessing their platform in India. The crypto landscape is dynamic, and the situation may evolve, so staying informed is crucial.

In conclusion, the government’s decision to restrict access to Binance’s original URL may have caused some inconvenience, but with the alternative URLs provided by Binance, users can continue to trade and engage with the platform. Remember to adapt to the changing landscape and explore alternative methods, such as accessing Binance through your mobile browser, to ensure a seamless crypto experience in India.
