At MakersPlace, our mission has always been to improve the discoverability of exceptional artwork and artists, ensuring collectors have access to the best the digital art world has to offer. With that in mind, we’re thrilled to introduce the latest enhancements to our Search and Explore functionality, designed to make your experience richer, faster, and more intuitive.
These updates continue our ongoing quest to better serve collectors while showcasing the incredible talent on our platform. Whether you’re searching for your next masterpiece or learning more about an artist, our improved features will help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
What’s New in Search and Explore?
With our newly improved search and browse functionality, collectors and art lovers can now seamlessly discover both artworks and the stories behind them.
Here’s what you can expect:
Comprehensive Artist Search
Looking for a specific artist? You’ll now be able to find artworks, previous exhibitions, the artist’s profile, and any editorial content we’ve published about them—all in one place. This makes it easier than ever to fully explore an artist’s body of work and history with MakersPlace.
We’ve added typo and misspelling forgiveness to our search engine, so even if you don’t spell an artist’s name perfectly, you’ll still easily find them and their works.
Expanded Browsing Options
Browsing isn’t just limited to artworks anymore. You can now explore artists, current and past exhibitions, and editorial content across our platform. Discover new talent, revisit your favorite exhibitions, or read exclusive interviews and features on the artists shaping the digital art world.
Ongoing Improvements to Look Forward To
We’re committed to continuously enhancing the MakersPlace experience. Here’s a sneak peek at some exciting search features we’re working on for the near future and beyond:
- Search by Artwork Title: Locate pieces by searching their exact title.
- Ethereum Address Search: Discover artworks linked to specific Ethereum wallet addresses.
Explore More, Discover More
These improvements are just the beginning. We’re excited to roll out even more features over the coming months, all aimed at making it easier for collectors to find the art and artists they love. Stay tuned as we continue to refine and expand our platform, keeping the experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
