Lost in Marfa: MakersPlace x Jeremy Booth with White Walls

-

MakersPlace is pleased to announce an exhibition, in partnership with White Walls, featuring the work of artist Jeremy Booth in Marfa, Texas.

Known for his bold minimalist approach to Western art, Booth’s work centers on the iconic cowboy figure, capturing the rugged spirit and vivid landscape of the frontier. Through his use of strong contrasts between dark shadows and vibrant colors, Booth creates scenes that focus on the cowboy’s experience under the open sky, exploring themes of resilience and independence.

Reflecting on his art, Booth shares, “I want my work to portray the western lifestyle that I love so much. I think that’s honesty, I think that’s respect, I think that’s boldness and adventure.” His art invites viewers to consider the symbolic depth of the cowboy, connecting with values that resonate universally.

This series features Jeremy’s debut dynamic tokens featuring day and night versions of each piece that change in response to sunset and sunrise in the viewer’s time zone, not to mention a few glitched-out easter eggs
